On 21 June 2023, between Tha Pyay Aye and Yae Kyaw villages (coded as Tha Pyay Aye) (Seikphyu township, Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of the Central Armed Forces - SeikPhyu People's Defense Force and the Seikphyu Township PDF (Myay Lat Zon PaKaPha) attacked a military truck with mines on the Seikphyu - Saw road at around 11:30 am, killing 15 and injuring 5 military soldiers.
