Grenade event in Punjab, Dera Ghazi Khan area, Pakistan on Sat 17th June 2023

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab Police on June 17, arrested six suspected terrorists of banned outfits during Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO), from different areas of the province, including Multan, Gujranwala and Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan), reports ARY News. A CTD spokesperson stated that the arrested terrorists include three cadres of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), identified as Liaquatullah, Nadeem Khan and Inayatullah, an operative of Sipah-e- Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) identified as Muhammad Younis, one cadre ofIslamic State of Iraq and Syria/Daish (ISIS) identified as Muhammad Ammar and an operative of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) identified as Ijaz Ahmed, The Dawn adds. 1,358 grams of explosives, one hand grenade, 6.53 feet Prima Card, one laptop, 82 pamphlets, 45 stickers, two flags, six receipt books and PKR 18,800 were recovered from the suspected militants.
