Three alleged narcotic smugglers, identified as Jagdeep Singh, Satinderpal Singh, and Sunny Kumar, all residents of Punjab, were arrested near the International Border (IB) in Samba District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) after shooting at two local youths during a scuffle between the two sides, reports Daily Excelsior on June 12.  The accused led the Police to the recovery of 2.8 kilograms of heroin (narcotics), a pistol with a magazine and some rounds, cash worth INR 93,200 and four mobile phones. No terror link has been established yet.
