Boy dies in South Sudan bomb attack Sudanese aircraft have bombed an area near Bentiu in South Sudan, killing a boy and injuring at least two other people, an official and a witness have said. Major General Mac Paul, the deputy director of military intelligence for South Sudan, said two Mig 29 jets belonging to Sudan dropped three bombs, two of which landed near a bridge that connects Bentiu, the capital of Unity State, and Rubkona. He said the other bomb exploded in Rubkona market, a densely populated area. An Associated Press reporter saw the body of a young boy killed in the market blast and at least two people wounded. Sudan and South Sudan have been drawing closer to a full-scale war in recent months over the sharing of oil revenues and a disputed border dispute.
