Surrey Police has released a picture of the unexploded bomb that closed part of Dorking. The bomb was found in the River Mole, close to the A24 at Old London Road, on Tuesday (May 26). The A24 was closed in both directions while a bomb disposal team safely detonated the shell in a nearby field at around 4.30pm. No injuries were sustained or property damaged in the incident.
