On 12 April 2023, in Hpar Chaung (Ah Twin Me Ka Nei) village (Myawaddy township, Myawaddy district, Kayin state), a combined force of military forces and the BGF carried out an airstrike and fired heavy weapons onto the village. Houses were set on fire. A total of about 30 houses and a church were destroyed during two days of attack (11 and 12 April). Villagers were forced to flee. Casualties unknown.
