On 13 April 2023, in Monywa town (Monywa township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Area 71 Defense Force (Monywa) and the Ronin Thirteen People's Defence Force hurled a grenade at the Mytel telecom office owned by the military on the Kyauk Kar road. Casualties unknown.
