Missile event in Donetsk, Bakhmut area, Ukraine on Tue 18th April 2023

The police of the Donetsk region informed on April 18, 2023, that Russian troops shelled the cities of Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Toretsk, Sloviansk, the urban-type settlement of Velyka Novosilka, and the village of Karlivka in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine).

“22 civil objects were destroyed and damaged – 9 residential buildings, a school, a factory workshop, a coffee shop, an office building, a technical school, an entertainment complex, a business center, an outbuilding, garages, and a car,” reported the police of the Donetsk region. Russian troops continue to destroy Avdiivka with aviation, rocket launchers and artillery. An apartment building, a factory shop and infrastructure facilities were damaged. There was no information about the victims.  “Russian military directed two S-300 missiles and a UAV towards Sloviansk. They hit 5 apartment buildings, objects of social infrastructure, and a car. According to preliminary information, no one was injured,” added the police of the Donetsk region.
