Unknown event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Karama area of South Waziristan area, Pakistan on Sat 8th April 2023

Two terrorists were shot dead in two different operations in North and South Waziristan Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on April 8, reports Geo TV. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that in Razmak of North Waziristan, troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location amid an intense fire exchange with terrorists, leaving one terrorist dead. Security Forces (SFs) also recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorist. Meanwhile, in the fierce encounter between troops and terrorists in Karama area of South Waziristan, the SFs effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, killing one in the shootout, the statement added. However, one soldier Naik Fazal Janan - a 32-year-old resident of Hangu District – was killed during the shootout.
