On 13 April 2023, two IED's planted by an unknown armed group, one exploded targeting a regime checkpoint in Ghadir al Bostan town, while the other one targeted another checkpoint on Ghadir al Bostan-Ma'laqa road in Quneitra countryside, killing 1 regime soldier (coded to Ghadir al Bostan), and injuring three others.
