An explosive device was found at the premises of the police Forensic Investigation Department (FO) on the Elisabethhof in Leiderdorp on Sunday afternoon. The police then called in the Explosives Clearing Service Defence (EOD). An expert from this service examined and secured the package. It was then taken by the EOD, accompanied by the police and FO, to another location. Here it will be detonated. It is still unknown how the explosive got inside the perimeter fence of the police building.
