On 5 April 2023, between Kywe Twin and War Yin Chaing villages (coded as Kywe Twin) (Myaing township, Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of the Myaing Underground Defense Force, the Zarmani Guerrilla Force - Myaing and the Myaing PDF (PaKaPha) battalion 1 carried out mine attacks a Myanmar military column of around 70 soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members, who were returning from the No.2 oil drilling site (Well-2), with five mines at around 6 am. The DVB reported that a military soldiers, a Pyu Saw Htee and two police were killed and two Pyu Saw Htee members sustained severe injuries. Myanmar Pressphoto Agency and Khit Thit Media reported that a soldier and a Pyu Saw Htee member were killed and two police and two Pyu Saw Htee members were severely injured. Fatalities coded as 2 using the lowest estimates.
