On 4 April 2023, near Zee Hpyu Kone village (Shwebo township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Wild Tiger Shwebo LPDF, the Bo Japan Gyi (T.T.T) - Shwebo People's Defense Force, the Farmers Group, the Hpar Shwe Kyaw People's Defense Force, the DOG Killer - Shwebo-LPDF, the One in a Thousand (Tabayin) Group and the Shwebo Township PDF Area 2 attacked police forces and Pyu Saw Htee who were coming out of the village with remote-controlled mines at about 9 am. Khit Thit Media reported that a policeman and a Pyu Saw Htee member were killed, and another policeman was severely injured. Irrawaddy reported that a policeman and two Pyu Saw Htee members were killed. Fatalties coded as 2, using the lowest estimate.
