On 1 April 2023, in Pale town (Pale township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Yinmarbin district PDF (B-10) and the Pale Township Area 7 (PaKaPha) attacked eight military soldiers, patrolling near their base camp near the Bo Gyoke Yin Pyin area with six mines at around 7:30 am, killing one and injuring 2 military soldiers.
