On 7 April 2023, an unidentified person threw a hand grenade at the gate of Dashin Beer Factory in Gonder (Gonder town, Central Gondar, Amhara) and injured one of the factory's guards. Before throwing the grenade, the person was seen sitting outside the gate inside a V-8 land cruiser car and talking over the phone then he demanded to enter the factory. When the guards refused to let him in, he threw the grenade. No casualties.
