On April 1, a Rohingya man, identified as Syed Alam (60), was shot dead during a clash between the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) and the Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO), at Camp 8 in Ukhiya Sub-District under CoxÕs Bazar District, reports The Daily Star. He was a resident of Kutupalong Camp 8. Sheikh Mohammad Ali, officer-in-charge (OIC) of Ukhiya Police Station, confirmed the incident and said both groups traded bullets over establishing supremacy at the camp.
