On 17 February, an explosive device went off at the door of a patients' rights NGO in Podilskyi district of Kyiv. The perpetrators left a placard with a message blaming a Servant of the People deputy for a law that allows teenagers aged 14 and older to sign declarations with family doctors and visit other medical specialists without their guardians. Several news media outlets reported last week that the law allegedly allows teenagers to change their sex, transplant organs and have an abortion without parents' permission. No injuries were reported due to the explosion.
