On the night of March 28, 2023, Russian troops launched mortar and artillery strikes on the city of Kherson, having hit a hospital and post office. The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor GeneralÕs Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. According to the investigation, Russian invaders struck the residential areas of Kherson with mortars and artillery. ÒEnemy projectiles hit a building of Kherson City Clinical Hospital named after O.S. Luchanskyi and a local post office,Ó the report states. Additionally, a kindergarten, residential houses, household buildings and cars were reported damaged. Under the procedural guidance of Kherson Regional ProsecutorÕs Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched in accordance with Part 1, Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war). Later, Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin noted on Telegram that Russians had targeted the hospital situated in KhersonÕs Dniprovskyi district. The main building was seriously damaged with its heating system hit and windows broken. According to Prokudin, Russian projectiles also struck UkrposhtaÕs production premises. Workers remained unharmed, but the enemy attack caused damage. Emergency services are working at the scene. A reminder that, on March 27, 2023, Russian troops opened fire on the Kherson region 60 times.
