The Security Forces (SFs) recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Boghra Road area of Chaman Town (Chaman District) on March 16, reports ARY News. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said an IBO was carried out to search for a suspected hideout of terrorists. “The terrorists were involved in the recent firing incidents on law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and civilians in Chaman area besides planting of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in surrounding areas,” the statement added. The statement noted that even though the terrorists had escaped including rockets, Improvised Explosive Devices and other accessories were recovered.
