On March 14, eight Taliban fighters and two National Resistance Front (NRF) fighters were killed in a gunfight that occurred in Taghank village of Pul-e-Hesar District of Baghlan Province, reports Hasht-e Subh. Sources stated that the clash between Taliban and NRF troops occurred after Taliban launched house-to-house inspections at Pul-e-Hesar.
