On 24 March 2023, U.S. drones conducted airstrikes targeting pro-Iran militias' positions in Harabesh neighborhood and Bor Sa'ed street in Deir-ez-Zor - Tashreen - Harabesh city, Hezbollah positions on the outskirts of Al Mayadin city, and Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' positions in rural Al-Bukamal in Deir ez Zor countryside, killing 14 pro-Iran militiamen. Fatalities split between the three locations as follows; 5 Harabesh, 5 Al Mayadin, and 4 Al-Bukamal. 14 fatalities.
