On 23 March 2023, in Kone Son village (Lashio township, Lashio district, Shan-North state), three locals discovered a heavy weapon on their way back from a novitiation ceremony and brought it on their tractor which later exploded at around 9 am, killing one and injuring the other 2 locals. Other sources, Democratic Voice of Burma; Shan Herald Agency for News, reported that two were killed. Fatilties coded as 1 using the lowest estimate.
