On 23 March 2023, in Kin Mun Taw village (Chaung-U township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), three members of the Chaung-U PDF attacked three Pyu Saw Htee members who were heading to the north of the village from their camp with three mines at around 7:30 am, killing 2 and injuring a Pyu Saw Htee.
