On 20 March 2023, in Kyoet Koe Pin village of Okpho township (Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), joint forces of the People's Defense Force - Thayarwady District Battalion-3802 Unit-4 and the Underground Guerrilla Force - Okpho fired two rounds of 40 mm heavy weapon against the Myanmar military troops stationed at the village's school building at around 2:30 pm. Two military soldiers were seriously injured.
