Missile event in Donetsk Oblast, Avdiivka area, Ukraine on Sun 26th March 2023

Russian occupation forces struck 37 times in Donetsk region, causing deaths and injuries. 14 settlements were shelled. Police have collected evidence of racist war crimes.

The enemy fired on the cities of Avdiivka, Kostiantynivka, Toretsk, Kramatorsk, Chasiv Yar, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Velyka Novosilka, Pivnichne, the villages of Bila Gora, Vremivka, Zvanivka, Karlivka, Novokalynove.

Russian troops shelled civilians with aircraft, S-300, Grad, Uragan and artillery.

20 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged - 7 residential buildings, a kindergarten, a cultural centre, a depot, factory workshops, a cafe, a market, a garage, and an outbuilding.

Avdiivka suffered the highest number of attacks - 20. The enemy shelled the town with aircraft, Grad rocket launchers and artillery. A factory shop and a cafe were damaged, and one person was wounded.

The occupants fired an S-300 missile at Kramatorsk. Konstantinovka was shelled with Uragan systems. In both cases, infrastructure facilities were damaged. According to preliminary information, no people were injured.

Russians shelled Pivnichne with Grad multiple rocket launchers, hitting three apartment buildings, one private house and educational institutions. A civilian was killed.

As a result of artillery attacks, we have a dead man in Chasovyi Yar.

The police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

With the help of the police, 211 more people have been evacuated, bringing the total number of people evacuated since the start of the mandatory evacuation to over 56,800, including 7,127 children and 2,573 people with disabilities.
