BOMB squad and emergency services are on scene in Leeds city centre, closing Crown Point bridge At 12.16pm this afternoon police were contacted by a man who found what appeared to be a mortar bomb, whilst magnet fishing, in the water just off Crown Point Road, in the #Hunslet area. A safety cordon has been put in place at this time. In an update, we can confirm that the device was made safe and the cordon has been lifted.
