Russian troops were continuously shelling the city of Kherson, its suburbs, and settlements in Kherson and Beryslav districts. The occupiers shelled civilian neighbourhoods with MLRS, mortars, tanks, long-range artillery and UAVs. There are dead and wounded. A 50-year-old woman was killed and four other local residents were injured during the artillery shelling of Bilozerka by the occupiers. In the village of Kizomys, a 52-year-old woman was wounded by shell fragments.

As a result of the attack from the left bank of the Dnipro River, the coastal areas of the regional centre suffered the most, with damage to apartment blocks, private houses and warehouses. In the area of the river port, the Russian military opened mortar fire on civilians crossing the river. A 68-year-old man died of his injuries, and another victim was hospitalised with mine-blast trauma, chest and thigh wounds. All emergency services were working at the sites of the shelling, providing assistance to the victims, extinguishing fires, and police investigative teams were collecting material evidence and documenting the consequences.

Over the past 24 hours, the police processed 312 statements and reports from citizens about various incidents and criminal offences. Twenty-one criminal proceedings were opened under Article 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement officers are documenting every fact of Russian aggression against civilians in Kherson region.
