Unknown event in Rotterdam, Hudsonplein area, Netherlands on Mon 27th February 2023

There were two more explosions at buildings in Rotterdam last night. No one was injured, but the buildings were damaged. This brings the total number of explosions in Rotterdam this month to fourteen, writes Rijnmond. The first explosion last night was around 1 a.m. at a house on the Zoutziedersstraat in Rotterdam-West. The blast shattered several windows. A few hours later there was an explosion at a barbershop on Hudsonplein, one and a half kilometers away. Here, too, there was glass damage. No one has yet been arrested for either explosion. It is also not clear if there is a connection between the two explosions. Police are investigating and are calling on people who know more to come forward. This month, according to Rijnmond, there was about one explosion every two days. Last week, there were even six explosions in one week.
