Grenade event in PyrŽnŽes-Atlantiques, Pau area, France on Thu 2nd February 2023

A 41 year old man was sentenced by the magistrate's court of Pau, on Thursday March 2, to a fine of 900 euros and a 15 year ban on holding a weapon. He had stored a whole arsenal at his home in Uzos. The defendant defended himself by evoking a "collectionnite". "I may have gone a bit far," concedes the 41-year-old man on the stand. Thursday, March 2, the criminal court of Pau accused him of having housed a small arsenal at home, in Uzos, between 2013 and 2019: assault rifle, rifle, grenade, but also thousands of cartridges and other equipment. He was sentenced to pay a fine of 900 euros and fifteen years of prohibition to hold a weapon.
