The discovery of unexploded ordnance in a section of the Argens river located between Le Thoronet, Le Cannet-des-Maures and Lorgues has led the prefecture to prohibit on this section and until 10 March 2023: swimming, the practice of ferromagnetic fishing (known as magnet fishing), as well as all nautical activities, including the use of beach gear and the navigation with and without motor of registered and unregistered vessels. The prohibited zone is located over a distance of 250 m on either side of the bridge over the Argens river, georeferenced at 43¡25'59.7 "N 6¡21'51.1 "E
