Explosive ordnance disposal specialists of the Guardia Civil have detonated two explosives. They were an Ecia 81 mortar grenade and a Valero 50, which were located in a house in îlvega following the death of the owner of the property. After the heirs took charge of the property, they were the ones who saw it and called the emergency telephone number. The two grenades are from the Civil War and were being used until now as ornamental objects in the house despite the fact that they had not been rendered useless by a specialist.The officers pointed out that it is a "potentially dangerous" object, given that it contains explosive material.
