On 13 March 2023, Russian forces shelled near Tonenke, Donetsk. Russia claims that the Ukrainian losses in this direction included three tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, four pickup trucks, two cars, a D-20 howitzer, a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery unit, an MT-12 anti-tank gun, and two M777 artillery systems. Russia claims that up to 150 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in Zaliznianske, Chervone and Tonenke. (150 fatalities split across three events, 50 fatalities coded in this event)
