Two commandos of the Central Reserve Police Force's (CRPF) Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) sustained injuries in the encounter that took place on March 9 between security personnel and cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) near Sakler village under the Kistaram Police Station area in Sukma District of Chhattisgarh, reports pragativadi.com. "Two commandos of CoBRA, Inspector Munesh Kumar Meena of CoBRAÕs 202nd battalion and constable Amit Modak of CoBRAÕs 208th battalion, suffered minor injuries in the encounter. Around five-six Maoists also sustained bullet injuries in the encounter, but they managed to escape into the jungles," the senior Police officer said in a statement. Earlier, the South Asia Terrorism Portal (SATP) had reported the incident on March 9.
