On 13 March 2023, in Pale town (Pale township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the M7 People's Defense Army, Pale Township Area 7, and the Little Hunter PDF attacked 15 military soldiers near the forestry office with mines at around 6:30 am, injuring 3 military soldiers. Two of the injured soldiers died from injuries on the night of 14 March.
