On 16 March 2023, in Pauk Chaung village (Myaung township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Myaung Special People's Defense Force, the Civilians Defense Security Organization Myaung, the Uplander Guerrilla Force, the Phoenix Guerilla Force, the People's Defense Force - Chaung-U and the Mingin Guerrilla Force carried out a drone attack on the military's Ogre Column of about 130 soldiers while resting in the mango farm at around 12:15 pm. Casualties unknown.
