On 16 March 2023, in Mawlamyine town (Mawlamyine township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), a combined force of the KNDO, the Mudon PDF, the Kyaikmaraw PDF and an unknown drone-based local defense force carried out drone attacks against the South-eastern Regional Military Headquarters three times, once at about 9:02 pm, once at about 9:20 pam and once at about 9:40 pm. Casualties unknown.
