On 16 March 2023, near Nat Gyi village (Ngazun township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the Myaung Special People's Defense Force, the People's Power (Ngazun), the Special Task Force (Ngazun), the Seven Stars Guerrilla Force and the Zarmani Guerrilla Force carried out a mine attack on two cars and six motorcycles carrying military soldiers who were returning after looting the people's belongings in the Nat Gyi village at about 4:30 pm. A car and three motorcycles were destroyed. Four military soldiers including an officer were killed, and 13 others were injured.
