A police officer discharged his service firearm to protect himself and his colleagues after a car driver failed to obey their order to stop for a routine check and instead sped off and fled the scene, thus endangering the lives of police officers. After the incident, the police stopped two other cars, which were suspected to be connected to the suspected vehicle. Five people who were in the cars were sent to the police station for interrogation.
