On 8 March 2023, Russian forces shelled near Prechystivka, Donetsk region. Casualties unknown. Russian sources claim that during that day at least 65 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, 2 IFVs, 2 pick-up trucks and a D-20 howitzer were destroyed near Vuhledar and Prechystivka (65 fatalities split across 2 locations and coded as 32 in this event). Ukrainian data on fatalities are unavailable.
