On 5 March 2023, in Ywar Shey village (Myingyan township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the Naung Yoe Special Guerrilla Force and the 27 Revolution Forces - Myingyan attacked a military convoy of two vehicles on the Myingyan - Si Mee Khon road with five mines at around 11:45 pm. The military in the convoy fired back with small guns. There were 2 fatalities on the military side.
