On 7 March 2023, near Yan Hpo village of Tanintharyi township (Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), unknown local resistance forces carried out a mine attack on a convoy of five military vehicles returning from the military artillery battalion 306 based in the Maw Tone village at about 10 am. The same military convoy were attacked again with mines in the Tha Moke Choe village and near the Hton Khar village for the second and third times. Casualites unknown.
