Unknown event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mir Ali area of North Waziristan District area, Pakistan on Fri 3rd March 2023

A terrorist was killed by Security Forces in an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on March 3, reports Dawn. The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release said: ÒDuring the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists. Resultantly, one terrorist was killed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist.Ó The ISPR added the slain terrorist was Òactively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent citizensÓ. ÒLocals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area,Ó the press release reads.
