On February 24, unidentified militants opened fire and injured a civilian, identified as Asif Ali Ganai, son of slain Head Constable Ali Muhammad Ganai, in Hassanpora area of Bijbehara town in Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is under way to grab the militants, officials added.
