Eight terrorists were killed on February 23 when Security Forces (SFs) thwarted an ambush of their convoy between Mukandar and Dukop in Mand area of Kech District in Balochistan, reports Dawn. A cache of weapons and ammunition, including explosive material, was recovered from the terrorist hideouts. Radio Zrumbesh quoting the claim of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) reported that seven SF personnel were also killed in the exchange of fire. BLF ÔspokespersonÕ Major Gwahram Baloch said in a statement that the BLF cadres attacked the convoy of four vehicles of Army with rockets and automatic weapons.
