On 1 March 2023, between Yar Taw and Ma Gyi Oke villages of Khin-U township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military troops ran into mine field planted by joint forces of Khin-U Region Defense Alliance Force and Spring Special Task Force (SSTF) at around 11 am. At least five military soldiers were killed and injured. Fatilities coded as 2.
