On 28 February 2023, in the west of Mu Gyi village (Wetlet township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the GZ Special Task Force - Wetlet carried out a mine attack against a Myanmar military column of around 100 soldiers coming from Hla Taw village with three cluster mines at around 11:30 am. Three military soldiers were killed and four were severely injured.
