On 28 February 2023, in Kyaung Ywar village (Ye township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), the Ye Ogre Group attacked the Myanmar military battalion 583 stationed in the village with two bombs attached to a drone at around 8:20 am. Casualties unknown.
