On 28 February 2023, in the east of Ta Paung village (Seikphyu township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Pakokku District PDF battalion 11 carried out a mine attack against around 20 Myanmar military soldiers coming from the Seikphyu-based No.22 defense industry (KaPaSa) with six cluster mines at around 8:30 am. Three military soldiers were killed and several injured.
