On 25 February 2023, near Myaing town (Myaing township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myaing PDF (PaKaPha) Battalion 1 Unit 4 attacked four military soldiers and a Pyu Saw Htee member on patrol with two mines at 7:20 am. DVB reported that a military soldier was killed, and two others were injured. Khit Thit Media and Irrawaddy reported that three military soldiers were killed. Fatalities coded as 1, using the lowest estimate.
