Security Forces (SFs) recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) suspected to have been planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) near Meralgeda village in the dense Kolhan Forest under the Goelkera Police Station limits in West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand on February 16, reports The Avenue Mail. A Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 60 battalion diffused the IED soon after it was detected by the paramilitary forces.
